One of the things I will never forget from my mom is one advise that she offered when I thought at one time I was God's gift to women and came home late every night from a my new girl friends house next door.

Every night she would be sitting in the kitchen waiting for me to come home before she went to bed. As soon as I open the door, she would then get up and go to bed.

This one day, she said, "Stanford, I am not going to worry about you anymore, you are becoming a man now, but I want you to remember that, "Enjoyment is only enjoyment at the time you are enoying."

It was not long after that, I had my first belleh, and then all hell broke loose. She then reminded me and then said, "Everybody take care of their own child." How was I going to manage with whole human being at this time....of course she did what she would do but the warning then was so real, ALL THE ENJOYMENT VANISHED, and I hoped I had never succumbed to the issue pleas to spend just one more hour...

Good moral story but careful before your kid see this and think he/she was a mistake. I maybe be assuming too much but kids tend to pick up that trend of thought easily.

Good advice from the mom though. i sure will keep that one in my book. :D

But, teenagers do that all the time and the results because it is unplanned and the teens are not ready for such a huge responsibility, sometimes turns out to be not too pleasant. It was not pleasant for me, but later on in life the kid and I bonded. I was a kid back then too.

He is now here in MN going to college, darn smart.
