When Thomas Paine said that the most formidable weapon against errors of every kind is reason; I think he was laying the intellectual foundation or premise from which we as thinking people can approach issue with every level of sound or sensible judgment. Even though, there are people who may argue in terms of relativity in any given situation; it is important to note that when an issue is argued from a sound or sensible judgment, sophism is obliterated.
