ULAA NATIONAL PRESIDENT REBUFFS “INTERIM GOVERNMENT” BLUFF

It has come to the attention of the National Administration of the Union of Liberian Associations in the Americas (ULAA) that a group of disgruntled individuals is disseminating information about a plan to install into office what is termed an “interim administration” to run the affairs of Union. As National President of the Union, I find such a misrepresentation as very unfortunate and wish to clarify that the ULAA constitution, laws, practices and precedents have no room for an outfit dubbed “interim government.” Our laws clearly spell out the forum from which the mandate to discharge governing authority over the Union is derived—the National General Assembly.
