Liberia's Junda Morris-Kennedy Takes Fashion World by Storm

So what's a fashionistato do in these tough economic times? Well, if you are like Liberian-born designer Junda Morris-Kennedy, the answer is simple: Keep creating awe-inspiring shows and products. Mrs. Morris-Kennedy is the founder and owner of Africa Pearls, Inc., a modeling and talent agency and event production company. “Africa Pearls is dedicated to defining for ourselves what true beauty is for African women of the Diaspora, said Morris-Kennedy. “We are also committed to producing spectacular events that showcase the beauty, culture, traditions and richness of Mother Africa”. This effort, she continued, is growing in popularity among young Pan-African women. Africa Pearls, the producer of the African International Modeling Competition (AIMC) and Fashion Expo, has received more than 100 inquiries from young women all over America, Canada, Africa, the Caribbean and Europe who want to enter the competition, said a release, a copy of which was issued to The Liberian Journal.
