One fall, a Canadian goose decided that he wasn’t going to fly south for the winter. He said, “I’m tired of flying down south every year. The trip is too long. I’m not doing it this year”. And so he stayed. But as the winter approached and it got colder, he had a change of heart. He decided to fly south for the winter. Well it was so cold by now that in flight, his wings froze up, he came spiraling to the ground and landed in a snowy cow pasture. He began to die. A cow in the pasture saw him and plopped a cow pie in the snow. And snow began to melt and as the goose started to regain him strength and flop his wings again he said, “Man, it stinks around here.” A cat nearby heard him say that and came over and ate him.



There three morals to this story.

• Everyone that dumps on you is not your enemy.
  
• Everyone that scoops you up is not your friend.
  
• When trails come your way, sometimes it good to just be quiet.
