D, I don't think it's limited to just Liberians oh, many other nations think this place is soooo great...till they get here

| Firstly. I think it is the history behind the two countries (Liberian and America) that is giving that feelings to many Liberians. Secondly, many Liberians feel that the US is better and easy to work, live or do anything you want to freely as compare to other countries around the world. This is a fact, Nigerians, Ghanaians and Sierra Leoneans prefer England to America. Guinea and Ivory Coast prefer France. I think this has to do with history. |

Because it is the land of the free. If u want to work here there are lot of jobs that are available. Some people want to do certain job and there where the problem are... This country can give u money to go to school and later on u can pay them back which is great. America is great and just take your time and u will enjoy its greatness. |

I believe that the French speaking countries will prefer France because of the language but they will stay want to come to America. The British colonies now prefer America because of the opportunity here.
America is the gateway of freedom to the world. It makes u independent and strong...The problem here is that people don't want to live according to their income when they come to the state. To live in America, u will have to be a realist... |

Only for those who have there papers and you are not really free...it's all an illusion...keep living in la la land.....it's "modern-day slavery" if you will... only thing is we get to leave the plantation at 5:00 or 6:00pm

| ah even to those who have not been there...see people planning their whole life around 'when i get my visa'. for some of those who are there, when they come back here, they act like all is well in the belly of the beast. they fool some people but not all. |
