Almost 2 years to make that movie and a lot of problem but they did it !!
And here, in France, it's a big event !

I don't think you can get it now on DVD. It's just coming on in cinema.

This film will be well worthy of watch but damn difficult to watch. Especially for those who were there and really experienced such. It wa na easy yah.

My daughter is 27 years old now, married with two kids and living here in the US. Whenever she hears thunder and lightening she can still have to fight off panic attacks.

The sound can give her flashbacks of the rockets and gunshots and of wading through rivers filled with dead bodies to get out Liberia by foot to the camps in Sierra Leone.

Image the lives of the 15 young children who relived all that for this film to take place. Imagine the reconstruction of a chilhood.

Chey Nica you are right, my mind has gone back to the day we woke up one morning and heard the rockets........... we had to fleed our house with bundles and walk from Airfield behind Barnersville just in hrs............not to even mention when peole had to go t for food with stray bullets all over the place. It is not just easy to recall don't want to inagine that to ever happen again.
